What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Online Booking
All camping pitches, camping pods, holiday lodges and holiday apartments are bookable online via our booking system provided by ‘Innstyle’. Online payments are administered by payment provider Stripe. When you make an online booking you will be asked to provide essential booking information. All details you provided are handled via Innstyle’s secure server in compliance with UK GDPR.
Beach View Holiday Park is the data administrator and has access to your booking details, we do not share these details with anyone else. Your payment details are handled by Stripe, Beach View and employees does not have direct access to your payment details but we can action payments & refund via the Stripe payments system if you used a payment card when booking.
Offline Booking
If you choose to book over the phone, we still have to log all your booking details on our booking system and payment processing is made either online via Stripe or via a card machine in our office. We do not hold card details on file or on our office computers.
Contact form
When you send a message using our contact form we record your email and other information you have provided via our mail server, this is so we can reply or provide feedback. Our contact form sends your enquiry as if you have sent us an email so any message is handled by our email server and delivered to our inbox, we will usually reply via email occassionally we may phone you if you have provided these details.
Newsletter registration
If you have signed up for our newsletter we will retain your name and email address until you request us to delete this information. You are free to do this by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of each emailed news letter, or by sending an email to mail@beachviewholidaypark.co.uk requesting us to remove your personal data.
Embedded content from other websites
Occasionally we may use embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you via cookies, or embedded tracking, this may include tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website e.g. YouTube video
Analytics & Data
This site does use basic site analytics, we do not personally log your ip address but the analytics may capture basic browsing habits including page views and website links clicked.
What rights you have over your data
We respect your data and privacy. If you have contacted us, or joined our newsletter mailing list you can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes (e.g. past and current bookings)
Personal information provided to us is stored securely, we do not disclose personal information to 3rd parties and we do not sell on your personal data to others.
